About The Jerico Road
Jericho Road refers to the road Jesus travelled with his disciples the last weeks of his journey toward Jerusalem and his crucifixion. The disciples did not enjoy the walk. Later, that would change.
This is a work in progress in several ways. First, it is a record of my spiritual life, my own walk on the road of the cross, something I want to share . My reasons for doing so will be in the writing itself. I am writing of spiritual things “on the road”, that is, in the act of living it. You will see from the outset that I understand truth as a paradox between God and myself, one that I can only resolve through the mystery of faith. I call this spiritual practice testimonial theology, a theology of the cross, a theology of seeing our God hidden in suffering, a way of thinking about God that is personal and to be shared or revealed.
Often, I have been wrong in teaching and living. I advise caution. I continually need repentance, something I now see is a state of being rather than a mere, isolated act. Therefore, there will be the occasional correction or deletion for the sake truth.
